Panelist for What Black Men Really Need Discussion King Anthony
King Nasir Anthony is a man of many skills and talents. Through the vehicles of the performing arts and affective needs counseling; King has made it his mission to especially advocate for and assist those who can’t easily advocate for themselves. Such as the at-risk teen communities he’s worked with in both the group home sector as well as in education; where he is currently a Restorative Practices Coordinator for KIPP Colorado Schools. King has been an advocate for those in the African-American community who suffer from a variety of unidentified mental illnesses and emotional traumas since 2011, when he too had his own battle with depression and conquered it. It was then that King created “Grow The H.E.L. L. Up!”. Grow the H.E.L.L. Up is a platform that directly addresses the four most underdeveloped areas in most STRUGGLING African-American men’s lives. HEALTH, EDUCATION, LIFESTYLE, and LOVE. King’s greatest accomplishment to date, is becoming a father to his 3 years old son TJ. Becoming a father was and is the driving force and inspiration behind “Grow the H.E.L.L. Up!” And is what inspires King, to help other men do the same.
We’ve produced The Black Love is Dope Discussions 1,2,&3, the all Support A Sista Saturday events, A Mommy Moment Self-Care Discussion, and more.
Meet the CEO of our company and Evolving Diva Inc Events & Coaching at “What Black Men Really Need Discussion”
Erica V. Walton has had her fair share of heartache and pain. The Chicago native grew up on the south side in the city’s Roseland community. She witnessed her family struggle with drug abuse and crime, survived the abandonment of her biological parents, homelessness, and molestation. Only to find herself in physically and emotionally abusive relationships. By the age of twenty two, Erica was a single mother of four children, all under five. In 2011, she refused to continue carrying the baggage of her past and generational curses.
Erica started the Evolving Diva Inc, Foundation in the summer of 2011. The foundation’s focus was the empowerment of girls ages 7-17 years old. The programs taught them the importance of self care and sisterhood. After hosting girl’s camps, empowerment brunches and food drives for the homeless, she created the RoyalTee Collection apparel line, and wrote her first children’s book. She also owns the Evolving Diva Inc, Events and Coaching. The events she creates serve the African American community in a positive light. Her focus is mainly women ages 24-47. Her motto is “In My Hands Queen Reign Supreme”.
Erica is committed to the evolution of the black community. Using her apparel, events, retreats, and challenges, her hope is that she can inspire women and girls to let go of their pain and find purpose from it. In 2019, Erica is adding coaching to her business with her “Reclaiming Your Queendom From Pain to Reign” workshops. Erica is an exceptional wife and mother of thirteen children. She’s also a self published author of nine books including her autobiography “A Diva Evolving”.
