Hi Friends and welcome back!! Can you believe the Holidays are here? Holy Cow that snuck up on us now didn’t it.

There are a couple things that came to mind this week while I was at the gym. First of all, this time of year can be a very depressing time for some people. Did you know that some of the benefits of working out are the endorphins that get kicked off by doing so. The endorphins are what help to keep you in a good positive state of mind. Healthy and clear thinking and they help to relieve depression. I didn’t say take it away but helps to relieve some of it. When I talk about body, mind and spirit, working out is the whole package. The bonus prize, is the physical changes that you can physically see. What about what happens on the inside? What happens when you workout and the endorphins are working? How do you feel?

I also thought about the fact, that I have had 4 children and one of the pregnancies was with a set of twins. I may never get back to my goal picture and I have to be willing to accept that. No matter how hard I try I may never be model material and that’s ok. I feel good, I don’t ache as much, I look forward to going to the gym most days, I can have cheat meals and not feel guilty. It really is about being ok with where you are at now.

The holidays will take a toll if you let them. Your going to have family visiting, stressful. Your going to have food choices you only have once a year, stressful. Your going to be working, taking care of the kids and cooking. Stressful, stressful, stressful! What if you stayed consistent with your workouts. You beat yourself up at the gym and had a enjoyable time with your family. You stayed on course with your workouts and were able to enjoy the holiday meal instead of feeling guilty. Kept your goals and worked everything else in around your workouts, wouldn’t you feel better? Aren’t you worth it? I think so… the first thing to be let go of is the gym and the diet. Then comes the guilt and the shame. I am asking you to put you first this year. If you have to get up a little earlier to get to the gym, if you have to take the stairs instead of the elevator, whatever it takes. Everything that needs to get done will get done. Maybe you ask for some help this year, but please stick to your guns. You have worked so hard don’t be a turkey and fall off the wagon. Lol!

Until next week #nevergiveup #getit
