Forget what we became, what matters is what we’ve become, and our potentials to overcome.
The most productive, healthy and satisfying relationships are based, not on a quid pro quo but an ebb and flow of mutual support over time. Don’t just be a giver. Be an extremely helpful giver who demonstrates an awareness of what that person most needs. Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much. Failure is an open invitation to improve and engage your frustrations with a refined energy of triumphant effort. There is immense power when a group of people with similar interests gets together to work toward the same goals. Leadership is not about your ambition. It is about bringing out the ambitions of your team. A negative mind will never find success. I have never heard a positive idea come from a person in a negative state.
We all cannot do everything or solve every issue. “It’s impossible”, however, if we each simply do our part. Make our own contribution, regardless of how small we may think it is…. together it adds up and great things get accomplished. To truly be successful you must of have a clear vision of what success means to you & then share that knowledge with others to grow a team. A good team needs three things: the right people, the right spirit, and a couple inside jokes. A team’s inspiration comes from individuals’ aspirations. The combined quality of individual passions makes a team’s impact to excel. The difference between successful and unsuccessful people is that successful ones know that the most unprofitable thing ever manufactured is an excuse. It’s only when we can work with something that brings out our strengths that we’re of any real use.
Linked together as a team with one goal, we soon realize we were only as strong as our weakest link. But did we condemn the weaker member? That wouldn’t serve any purpose. Instead, the stronger guys responded by carrying more weight than the weaker teammate. Encouragement was key in reaching the top of the stadium, standing as one.Sometimes one person on your team may not be as strong as another. Strengths usually differ. Likewise, in an encounter with another, someone may have a different set of beliefs or ideas. To accomplish any goal, embracing the strengths and weaknesses of each member and compensating where necessary are the best ways to make it to the top. Pivoting is not the end of the disruption process, but the beginning of the next leg of your journey.
It takes time for most to realize that no one was truly self-sufficient, and that those who thought they were merely took refuge in a form of weakness, the weakness of being unable to ask for help and guidance and thus find greater strength in reliance on close friends and comrades. There are two types of people in this world: those whose look for opportunity and those who make it happen. There is a difference between failing and failure. Failing is trying something that you learn doesn’t work. Failure is throwing in the towel and giving up. If you first take a minute, an hour or a month to let go of feeling annoyed, frustrated or critical of the person or situation that may be driving you crazy, you set yourself up for much greater leadership and personal success.
Unity is the intentional inclination to corporately control our destination. In other words, achieving the dream takes a team! I believe a family can be like that sports team. A successful family wins as a team. But if its members are intent upon winning their own individual battles with one another, the team loses. A winning solution is to work out the differences and, when it’s over, let it be over. Then they can get back in the game as a team. A great building will never stand if you neglect the small bricks. Even the strongest, most well-built team will, at times, be met with adversity. What makes them great is not that we should anticipate less adversity the stronger that we become, but rather that in anticipation of adversity we become stronger.
My friends, we should consider ourselves fortunate, not because we are any greater or lesser because we face adversity, rather we simply rejoice in the opportunity to face it The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team. Teamwork: I find it fascinating that a snowflake, by itself, can be so delicate; but when they team-up, they can close-down an entire city. A champion,, wins a World Series or an Olympic and is hoisted on the shoulders of teammates and fans. A hero carries the people on his shoulders. Champions live for the moment- heroes, like great leaders, transcend time.
Leadership amongst the crowd is often the one who has the least to gain and the most to offer…..
