For the past couple of years, Uptown United and the City of Chicago has come together to Host the Argyle Night Market. Local vendors provide fresh foods and entertainment every Thursday night from July to the end of August in the heart of the Chicago’s Asian Marketplace. Uptown has been hosting the Argyle Night Market Since 2014 between Sheridan Road and Kenmore.
Mixing together elements of street festival and farmers market, there’s a little bit for everyone’s entertainment and taste buds. Farmstands, food vendors, and local artists come together to share their foods like Sun Wah BBQ and Tank Noodles. A live stage hosts numerous local performances such as Ron Haynes Game Changer and Ugochi and Afro Soul Ensemble. Usually 3,000 to 8,000 people frequent the Market per week.
Easily accessible by the CTA Argyle Red Line stop. Already halfway through and marking the end of summer, come enjoy the local flavors at the Argyle Night Market.
