Dr. Phyllis Wilson, an independent consultant, speaker, author and personal development strategist will be discussing her latest book, “Josephine’s Coat of Many Colors”, this Wednesday at 9 PM CT on Dana Being Dana LIVE on Facebook or intellectualradio.com, an iHeartRadio station.
From DePaul University, Dr. Wilson graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree (in Applied Professional Studies with a concentration in Professional Speaking and Life Coaching) and certification as an NLP Master Practitioner. She later obtained her Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a focus on Coaching from Capella University. Dr. Wilson also received an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Gospelway Non-Denominational Church in Flint, Michigan for her many years in ministry and teaching.
Dr. Wilson is currently the Senior Pastor and founder of Promises of God Ministries. In 1995, she became a licensed Evangelist from Women’s Gospel Experience Ministries. Since then, Dr. Wilson has taught God’s word in Sunday school and workshops. In addition to her biblical workshops, she also develops many seminars, workshops, and conferences that focus on leadership development, personal growth, and organizational development as well as other components of individual development.
In 2005, Dr. Wilson became an ordained Pastor from Ephesus Baptist Ministries in Flint, MI. She is the author of two books, “No, Not You! Why Not Me?” and “Josephine’s Coat of Many Colors” (and workbook) and she is currently working on two other books. Dr. Wilson believes that her purpose in life is “to empower, motivate, inspire and uplift the lives of people to achieve all that God has for them.” As founder and owner of two organizations, PH Balance and Yarning to Help, she is thriving to make a positive change and difference in the lives of others.
