Chicago Meet Tiffiny Nicole Owner of The Soft Touch Experience Spa and known as ‘The Beard Whisperer’

Tiffiny Nicole is a businesswoman from Chicago who has a passion for making people feel and look good. As the owner and founder of The Soft Touch Experience, she provides luxury spa services to her clients specializing in skin care for men with beards.

We had a chance to talk with her about her business and how she became known as ‘The Beard Whisperer’ specializing in facials for men with beards.

1) Tell us how you got your start in the beauty industry?
I believe God ordained my steps to walk into my ministry and I am very thankful. As a young girl growing up with a lot of brothers, uncles, male cousin sand being raised with my very Astute father, I have always seen what a strong male presence looks like and I want that for all men, especially my Back brothers.

2) How did your background and past work experience help you start your businesses?
I am a proud graduate of Eastern Illinois University. I earned a degree in Organizational Communication along with my Green Belt in Six Sigma. I have a 14-year career in Healthcare Administration all helped me tremendously with my business. My past experience allowed me to organize a company from start-up business but also able to align the different processes set up for improvements and to fulfill needs. There is a real need for education and the skincare services I provide for me with beards so I am here to fulfill it.

3) As a business owner, service provider, and product creator how do you juggle your responsibilities and still provide good customer service to your clients?
With the help of calendars, dedication and just getting it done… lol… I schedule myself accordingly to be able to do all things for my business. My clients always come first. My clients are amazing, I appreciate them. My male clients with beard are the one’s who named me the Beard Whisperer.

4) Your male clients with beards call you ‘The Beard Whisperer’, how does that name set you apart in your industry?
The name itself signifies my LOVE OF THE BEARD! It makes me feel special. The name within itself lets people know I LOVE what I do and how I help curate healthy beards.

5) Being in the beauty business during COVID 19 has been tough to service clients, how have the changes affected your business?
COVID- 19 was actually good for my business, it created room for me to work on the growth of my bearded playground product line.

6) What’s next for the beard whisperer?
I recently have become an Esthetic Instructor so I will begin traveling when things open back up and also offer zoom classes to certify estheticians to provide The Beard Whisperer Technique in their city to offer to their clients with beards.
