Rich Lalley cultivates Operation Warm partnerships with Chicago area organizations and Rotary Clubs across the United States. These partnerships deliver warmth, confidence and hope to children living in need through the gift of brand new winter coats. Each year, over 50,000 Chicago area children are warmed through these programs, and another 30,000 children receive new coats through Rotary Clubs across the country. Major Chicago area partners include the Chicago Community Trust, Chicago Housing Authority, Chicago Public Library, several local family foundations, major corporations like Wells Fargo, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, ComEd, and PepsiCo, and several locals of the International Association of Theatrical and Stage Employees.

Rich is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Winnetka-Northfield, IL and he currently serves Rotary District 6440 as Assistant Governor. Mr. Lalley brings over twenty years of brand marketing and advertising experience to Operation Warm, most recently as Vice President of Advertising and Brand management for Discover Financial Services. He is a past recipient of Brand Week’s Marketer of the Year and Ad Age’s Marketing 100 awards. Mr. Lalley is a graduate of Michigan State University, where he studied advertising.

Operation Warm is a national nonprofit that creates brand new, high-quality coats for children in need. Every child, regardless of their economic situation, deserves a brand new coat. We partner with compassionate individuals and organizations across North America to give a gift of warmth, confidence and hope to millions of children in need. Operation Warm believes a brand new coat is more than a coat, promoting self-esteem, school attendance and outdoor play.
