Kemone Hendricks is the founder and CEO of Evanston Present and Future, a community organization that produces impactful events, conducts focus groups for teen moms to ensure their needs are met as teens and as mothers, research for other businesses and organizations & helps implement findings in various areas. The organization collaborates with elected officials, community members and other organizations to create much needed change and improvements. A few of the organizations initiatives include Evanston’s first Juneteenth Parade, reparations and starting a college fund for all teen mothers.
Before devoting her work full time to Evanston Present and Future, Kemone was the Operations specialist at Chase bank for 8 years. Struggling as a teen mom, she persevered and left chase to begin working on her passions that included several successful business ventures; her own Marketing agency, talent agency, a social justice jewelry line and her daughter becoming Miss Teen Globe Illinois. Evanston Present and Future has always been something she wanted to create so to ensure space is held for teen mothers and to also be a role model for teen mothers around the world.
