I am a National certified grief coach. I have a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Dominican University located in San Rafael, California. Besides my 3,000 clinical hours, I have over 5 years working directly with bereaved clients. I led drop in grief groups, large and small. I led a group for clients to process their feelings around the holidays. I like being a grief coach as I help my clients work towards transformation and helping them reinvest back into their life. My website is obriengriefcoaching.com.
Grief work is very personal to me. My dad died the first day of my 7th grade. I was devastated, bullied and often ignored by my circulated news around my school. What I learned at that young tender age was never to compare pain. We grieve because of our connection to the person who died.
I can help you transform your pain into believing your life does not have to stop. I listen without trying to change your story. My extensive past and present experience working with clients allows me to guide you through your grief. My client success stories reflect my ability to, time after time, help clients improve their health and achieve a higher level of life satisfaction. In specific, I like working with men as I feel they often are the forgotten ones in their grief.
My education and training completes my coaching arsenal – allowing me to provide my client with the tools and methods needed to achieve their goals.
