Adler After Dark was an event that was out of this world! The Adler Planetarium, a Chicago classic, hosts a spectacular evening every year. It is a 21+ attendance since there are alcoholic beverages served at the event, but if you get a chance to go, you must!
Although Adler isn’t even the most sought-out museum on my Chicago to do list, it is still one of the top museums to visit if you are a local or just visiting. Adler so graciously hosts this event every single year, and now, since I am of age, I was able to attend. The air was chilly, but the museum was warm and inviting. Once our bags were checked and our tickets clicked, it was time for the night to start.
The night was filled with out-of-this-world wonders from cosmic drinks to interactive exhibits. It was so cool to see so many adults geek out over space and astronomy. All the volunteers were so nice and helpful and really made everyone feel welcomed at the event.
From the exhibits to the DJ blasting out jams, to the drinks that were almost too cool to drink, Adler After Dark was truly a night to remember. My favorite part was the entire atmosphere, as everyone was just there to have a good time. The exhibits were interactive and fun, but just being together and seeing the Chicago community brought together is truly something.
Thank you, Adler, for bring the people of Chicago together. Here’s to many more cool events happening in the city. If you see anything awesome going on in Chicago, which is most likely always, be sure to check it out! You never know what kind of events are happening!
