On The SCENE With Amiee Boswinkle

“Addicted To Soul Sickness”

As a society we are conditioned to become distracted to the truth of our being.

We are conditioned to live in fear and lack.

Looking at everything going wrong.

The more we live in fear the farther away from the truth of who we really are, we will stray.

It’s so easy to keep living in anxiety, depression, addiction, shame, guilt, trauma.

The more we talk about and judge one another, the longer we stay sick.

Soul sickness that is.

Addiction comes in many forms, do not judge the physical form, for all addiction is painful to the person experiencing that reality.

And the more we stay sick and tattered and torn and living in all going wrong instead of all going right, they win.

We continue to fight the greatest battle going on in this world and that is the war within our own selves.

People judge all the time: addiction is alcohol, drugs, food, money, sex, gambling.

But addiction is also feeding off the sickness of fear.

Fear in society and a mindset of habituated negative thinking.

Living in the past. Seeing all going wrong.

Living as the victim: look at all I do and no one acknowledges me.

Our basic survival needs were stripped away from past hurts, think:

The Great Depression, World War I, World War II, Vietnam War, just to name a few.

These wounds have been carried down for generations, building momentum in our DNA’s genetic strands.

It’s how we stay sick instead of getting better.

We can get smarter or not.

The choice is literally that simple.

But that depends on how you see it, for all the days and all the ways we perceive life and run ahead and fall behind is all on us.

Here’s the thing: nothing in this time and space is completely as it seems.

Your perception of the issue at hand is of the utmost importance.

It’s what connects you to your soul.

Who you surround yourself with will continue to keep you sick or make you well.

Make wise choices.

Break free from the prison of your own mind.

It is the most beautiful freedom you will ever find.
