With the most appropriate named restaurant, brunch is the most superb place to enjoy a morning meal. Not only does this quaint restaurant hold all your favorite brunch items, but it’s also open from 8 AM to 4 PM, so you can enjoy your meal and get those eight hours of sleep we’re all desperately looking for. Brunch is known for their extremely decadent French toast, some topped with layers of sauces and ice cream, and others with eccentric ingredients like fruity pebbles. It’s perfect for anyone looking for a dessert for breakfast as well as to those who just want a simple omelet. The menu is extremely diverse, featuring every kind of bunch food a food fanatic can think of and has a wide variety of drinks as well. As stated on Brunch’s wall: “Brunch without booze is just a sad, late breakfast.”
Anyone looking for a more classic brunch spot, Yolk is the spot. There are many Yolk locations throughout the Chicago area meaning there’s no excuse not to visit. Yolk is the perfect place for picky eaters because their menu really can’t be argued with. With many different options of “create your own” items, no one can be unsatisfied with their food. Yolk has a casual feel to it and is great for someone who wants to roll out of bed and get brunch.
This quaint little restaurant is located in the Gold Coast which isn’t a far walk from downtown. Ideal for those who want to fill their stomachs before taking on the city. If a “classic” brunch isn’t what you are looking for, Q is the place to look at. Perfect for eating in the summer, there’s a cozy outdoor patio that has a stunning view of the neighborhood. The menu is a little bit on the pricier side, but it’s definitely worth it if brunch is going to be your main meal for the day. The menu has about seven classic brunch items, and the rest consists of different sandwiches and salads that one can choose from.
3 Arts Café at Restoration Hardware
3 Arts Café is one of the most aesthetically pleasing brunch places you’ll ever visit, I promise. After walking through 5 floors of designer furniture, 3 Arts Café is located on the first floor of Restoration Hardware. This spot is mostly for those who are looking for an experience rather than a hearty brunch meal. The café is located under an atrium giving the area a modern and open feel. When looking for an activity while also a snack, 3 Arts Café is the ideal place for you.
With the most beautiful rooftop view, Cindy’s is another brunch spot you just have to visit. Cindy’s brunch is exclusively for Saturdays and Sundays, making it the perfect weekend spot. The brunch menu is another that is a little on the pricier side, but has some of the heartier options that many are looking for. If you’re a pickier person, Cindy’s might not be the best spot for you, but offers about 12 main dishes that can be altered in different ways that you please. With a breathtaking view of the city, this picture-perfect brunch spot is an excellent place to bring visitors who want to overlook the city while enjoying a meal.
