Inspired by the lives of the real-life grifter brothers Fred and Charley Godroff, the film won seven Oscars by its vivid and detailed depiction of Chicago during the Great Depression and showed just how daring and grey the mob’s world truly is.

3. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, 1986

4. Baby’s Day Off, 1994

Being the son of a wealthy family has its ups and downs, like when three bumbling criminals try to kidnap you for the reward money when you decide to go for a stroll through the city. Follow along as the wacky chase around the city takes the audience through different parts of Chicago. This film is a very fun classic for the whole family that is bound to get people to laugh as the story goes.

5. Office Christmas Party, 2016

Taking place during the jolliest time of the year it’s the only film on the list that shows Chicago’s Christmas spirit and the fun side of the office. Taking place mostly in the downtown area this shows how the big buildings are all covered with snow and cheer.
